Pattern: ... none...
----
Sadly, the other pair of socks did not make it. I frogged them and began again. A tip for those of you who want to try toe up socks: Circulars are amazingly fast for them and allow you to try in the sock as you go with proper support.
I don't have a pattern. Like I said before. I sometimes get it into my mind I am some form of knitting genius and refuse to use patterns. i.e. for the sweater still on the needles waiting. I've decided it won't be a pull over. I seriously need more zip up sweaters, so I'll probably make one of those. Besides, the new Interweave Knits has a pattern I would like to try as far as pull over. Additionably, I found a book called Fitted Knits at Barnes and Noble. I don't really have any cash to spend on it, but I'm there enough to where I sneak peeks at it. I think I'll take some notes from it and get some tips. I definitely need a pretty sweater.
I'm so busy with school, I feel bad leaving Josephine home alone for about fourteen hours a day. Usually on weekends, I try to spend as much time around home with her. Naturally, the past couple weeks I've been swamped with work and school. I miss my little Josephine. This weekend I was hoping to have time to sit with her and finsih these socks. Instead, I'm covering Joie's shift at work and I may have to stop by my parents' for dinner. That means no yarn store for me and no finishing both socks this weekend. Maybe I'll get the "Man of Law's Tale" finished but probably not.
Jos and I did squeeze in a little early morning cuddle though. I woke up to her curled up against my pillow (her favorite spot) and when I was working on my right sock, she settled in my lap until she decided to dig her claws into my knee and was evicted.
Well, I've sufficently proven myself a cat person. I think I'll ditch my parents and hit up the yarn store anyway. I have to get something for my valentine, Lorenzo. :D.
