I promised a decent post, but I don't think I'll be able to complete one tonight. I guess the medium length story is that my computer was broken, my cellphone was broken, my cash flow is severely low. I had a midterm I think I failed, a bunch of reading to do, and a Chaucer midterm to study for. Riverrun was bothering me and the worst of all I fell asleep and missed the Sigma Tau Delta book set up and I felt impossibly bad.
Now: my computer is fixed, my cell phone was replaced, my cash flow (though still low) was compensated graciously by my parents, grandmother, and some money I earned a while back but never got the check for. My midterm.. well, I'm not too worried because I did my best, the end, I read, and Chaucer midterm was pushed back. I made up for my asshole-ness in the Sig-Tau book debacle by putting in a couple extra hours. I now have an assistant editor for riverrun sort of.
I'd just like to say my spirits weren't low, I was just busy. Very very busy. I have my Internets working and my computer working. We'll see how the rest goes.
In Knitting News:
I dyed a total of four skeins on Sat & Sun. All are variant shades of red. Two are for Erika, one will be listed in the shop, one I am keeping to create a new pattern.
My LYS wants me to recruit more young people to knit around campus etc. To help them along the way, I am creating a pattern and possibly teaching a class. Right now, I'm working on "Love's Clutch" which is really just a clutch with a seriously uncreative name. I am working on three projects now:
1. Clementine Shawlette -- Interweave Knits Spring '07
2. Pansy bag (Well I call it a Pansy Pouch) -- Interweave Knits Spring '07
3. Love's Clutch
I think I will finish Gooby's sweater or the Froggie Hat which I just haven't been doing because... I am lazy occasionally. Who knows.
One thing I am proud of this week:
I made all of my lunches for the entire week. I have not had to rush out the door without lunch at all! <3
Love all of you who reply to my blogs. I'll be done lurking soon (hopefully).
