An Open Letter
To my swap sender,
First hello! I don't really mind if you stay anonymous or not. I think it'd be better if you remained anonymous, but you know, whatever, if you want to reveal yourself to me, it's totally fine.
I promise I come off more unbalanced in my survey then I actually am. I was reading my swapee's survey and then I thought, "Hey, I wonder what I sent to Erika." I read it and I couldn't stop laughing. Then I thought, oh that's not good. I made myself laugh. I realized that I probably could have filled it out better. I think ouu should know that I rarely take things seriously. I don't eat crack, in fact, the getstitchy (we'll just refer to them as ladies) were quite offended when I said, "I am from cracktown." If you are easily offended, ask Erika for a new partner.
So here are some things that you SHOULD know about me when you send me things.
1. My three favorite colors to wear are black, black, oh and black. I hear it's slimming and the goths wear it. I knit with almost any color. Even obnoxiously bad ones. I like to make my brother hats for his snowboarding.
2. Don't send me acrylic yarn. I'm sure you won't, but it bears repeating. Also, I am one of those knitters who isn't into the whole sock knitting thing yet, plus I'll dye my sock yarn if I ever feel the urge.
3. I really do love my cat this much. She recently hurt herself very badly, so extra love is given to her.
4. A lot of my yarn ends up at Hattie's and visa versa. We swap at least once a month. So even if you think I might not like it, Hattie has similar yet different tastes and I am totally happy with anything sent :D.
5. You can never go wrong with an alpaca yarn in my book. I love those effed up camels' fur! I also am a sucker for any merino wool. Also, I recently (and I mean the past two days) developed this insatiable need for super bulky yarn.
6. Believe it or not, my vulgar mouth graduated from college with a major in the English literature May 18 of this year! I'm still stoked.

Ha! You are hilarious. I have to fill out my questionnaire to send to my swap partner and I was giggling maniacally about what my swap partner was going to think of me. Funny funny. Everyone in the swap is all about some natural fibers so I don't think you have anything to worry about. I hope you are having a beautiful day.
HAHAHAH!!! Yes I love trading yarn.
