Now, I have TONS of knitting news. First on our knitting tour is the land of Finished Objects.
That image is huge. Or maybe it's just me. But I finished the cornflower blue mitts I now call, "No Goose Fingerless Mitts" featuring mama and baby ducks. They're sewn on with felt rather well. Note to whoever buys them: don't turn them inside out. Seriously, not a pretty sight. What can I say? I'm a knitter not a sewer. That's an understatement. I can knit with the best of them. I cannot sew with even the worst of them.
I also finished my lilac alpaca hat. I was going to sell it, but I wear it so much that it's probably not sellable, I mean seriously, who wants an already worn hat? Not me. Unless I'm the one in it. How could I not wear it though??
Raaar! I call it a monster hat. It has a heart, too. If you look on the right hand side, there's a sliver of the heart. I'll try and take a picture, but I will most likely forget to or something. Actually, once i put it on I don't take it off and I've worn it enough in the past two days.
Sometimes I shower in it. Just kidding... or am I? You can decide... or ask Josephine.
Last on my "finished" objects are two skeins I dyed with some kool-aidizzle:
Someone needs to buy them because they're staring at me in their beauty, waiting for me to use them and I cannot. I CANNOT.
OKAY. The fingerless gloves and yarns are for sale at the Three Peas Shopette.
In other news, I'm working on my first pair of socks. Like the dumb knitting genius I think I am, I decided to knit them from the toe up. I'm knitting both at the same time so I don't forget the pattern when I knit the other one. Well, my home dog is here now. Have to get off these here internets.
Much love to all.
