Okay so I took some quick pictures since I don't have good lighting or anything, but I managed to actually have a finished object even through all this ball licking junk that's going on around here:

Introducing Only Sweet On The Surface Beanie. I have a pattern that is currently being test knit and it will be posted, my first pattern for tako! Yaay! I totally look like a crack addict in the picture (move over Mary Kate!) but I'll be taking better pictures later.

Anyway, insurance is still insurance.

In diet news, I lost four pounds then over Halloween, I gained them back. Apparently eating everything I want as well as drinking any and all beer in sight does NOT help the diet. I repeat, do not drink tons of beer and eat whatever you want when you are ON a diet. This is seriously breaking news, people. Oh and you aren't supposed to eat ice cream. Anyway, my diet news coincides with my knitting news today. I've been on a yarn diet since August, and now I feel it's okay for me to loosen the girdle a spidge to allow more yarn into my stash. What does this have to do with my diet you ask? Well, I've decided that I will reward myself with yarn when I diet correctly.

So this is what I have so far:
$5 for every pound I lose (and that's "new" pounds so if I gain some and lose some those don't count.)
$2 for every time I avoid Chik-fil-A
$1 for every time I avoid fast food
.50 for every fruit serving
.50 for every vegetable serving
.25 for every time I avoid candy at work (and trust me I will keep track)

That's all I have so far. I'm not going to reward myself for the exercise just yet. Maybe I'll just use the gym money I get back for going 3+ times a week towards a nice big yarn haul. Anyway, I'll let you guys know how I'm doing as I go. I'll have a little "Yarn Money Tracker" on my blog for all of us to follow along.

Oh man, I have got to sleep. i really don't have much else to talk about anyway.
