My parents called me last night to inform me I'll be house sitting for them until Wednesday so it's going to be VERY hectic around here. Starting today I have to juggle my time with my parents' house and my apartment, since I can't take Josie to their house (my sister is highly allergic to kittykins and she'll be coming for X-mas very soon!) and Misty can't come to mine (my neighbors tell on me.)
Luckily my new four work day schedule starts next week, so I'll be off Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The bad news is Monday is a 10 hour day (7:30 to 6). watch me squirm to juggle that one. Misty isn't that high maintenance, but I definitely can't just leave the house untouched and let her out twice a day. She's used to a little bit of company. My dad said that she's started to sleep in his closet every time she sees the suitcase come out. Aw, she doesn't want him to leave! The tough part is I can't just leave Josie in the apartment. She gets cabin fever during the winter and if I'm gone more than eight hours things get torn up. I am so screwed when it comes to my carpet in this apartment... I don't know what to do anymore. I was really hoping I'd enjoy my four days off. I won't be getting that many off for a while.
Anyway, it looks like another weekend I won't be able to take care of MY stuff, I'll be running around taking care of everyone else's. Maybe my brother will come down and he'll be able to stay with Misty. Probably not.
And of course me sitting half dressed reading blogs is definitely helping in my time crunch. It's this vain thing I've started doing I can't stop looking at myself because there are little tiny places I've lost weight in. Wee!

Hey sweetie! Sorry you are feeling kinda down and in the middle of some crazy hectic life. I hope all of that is alleviated soon. At least you'll get to spend some quality time with Misty while you are taking care of your parents' house. Thanks for emailing me the SMC pattern too, by the way. I can't wait to get it started, after my Christmas knitting is done, of course. (Ugh).
